Sequences – a single photo is not enough
It is not always possible to tell a story with a single photo. Occasionally, a subject needs more space than a single photo can provide. That's when I like to produce series. I find that a sequence of instant photos is ideally suited for content-related or formally connected sequences, because they form self-contained seascapes within the sequence, allowing the eye to rest and wander piece by piece.
My way of eating a boiled egg: fix the egg in an egg cup. Gently tap the egg at the top to open it. Remove the eggshell. Sprinkle the egg with salt. Eat the top part as an amuse-gueul. And after a moment of mindful enjoyment, gobble up the rest.
